Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur’s Efforts Reignite Tree Felling for Malout-Muktsar Road | Gurbani World

Chandigarh, August 19: The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is earnestly working for the welfare of the state’s people.

As part of this endeavor, MLA from Malout and Cabinet Minister of Punjab, Dr. Baljit Kaur is persistently striving for the development of the Malout constituency. Speaking to the press, the Cabinet Minister stated that the Malout Vidhan Sabha constituency is like my own family. No one wishes to witness their family lagging behind in any aspect, and my Malout family will achieve significant progress in every field in the near future. She emphasized her strong commitment to constructing the Malout Muktsar road. While tree felling work had commenced previously, technical challenges temporarily halted the process. Bringing this matter to the attention of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Forest Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, with their support, we are soon resuming the tree felling work after resolving these issues. Relevant orders have been issued to this effect.

The Cabinet Minister affirmed that once the trees have been felled, the road construction will promptly commence through subsequent procedures.

Dr. Baljit Kaur added that developmental initiatives are underway in the state to enhance the quality of life for its people, ensuring access to fundamental amenities. The construction of the Malout-Sri Muktsar Sahib road will greatly benefit the local residents. Numerous Aam Aadmi Party workers were present on this occasion.
