AMRITSAR: To face the national difficulties, the entire Sikh community gathered under one sign and one law under the name of Guru Nanak. In the modern era, there is a dire need to expose the young generation to Sikh history.

This idea was expressed by the 14th Chief Jathedar Baba Balbir Singh Akali 96 Crore of Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal, the main organization of Nihang Singhs, on the second martyrdom centenary of Akali Baba Phula Singh, the great general of the Sikh community, Budha Dal and the sixth Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Third birth centenary of Baba Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Gurdwara Ramgarhia Sabha South Hall U.K and Gu: Sri Guru Singh revealed while addressing the congregation at the Sabha Salogh.

He said that although television and mobile phone have created many facilities as means of communication for the modern age, but under the influence of their wrong use, the young generation is also going astray. Efforts should be made to fight against Gurbani and Bane by making such youth aware through the teachings of Gurmat.
He said that it is the main duty of the older generation to inherit the Sikh heritage in the spirit of Sikhism, patience, devotion, service meditation and religious life.

The Nihang Mukhi said that those who have not received the gift of Amrit, should become Amrit-dhari as soon as possible and fight with the Guru.
He also said that all the Guru Ghars of the UK are making great efforts for Sikh propaganda which is good and commendable.
He described the excellent services of the Budha Dal chiefs and also showed the devotees the historical weapons of Budha Dal Gurus and Sikh generals. Baba Balbir Singh was specially honored by the management of both Gurughars. At this time, Baba Harjit Singh Khanda Kharkega, Baba Jaswinder Singh Jassi America, eminent thinker Giani Bhagwan Singh Johal and other local Nihang Singhs were with Baba Ji in large numbers
