The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday released a list of four candidates from Punjab for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. AAP fielded sitting MLA Ashok Parashar from the Ludhiana seat, along with three other candidates.
Out of the four candidates fielded by AAP from Punjab in today’s list, three are already sitting MLAs from the state. Pawan Kumar Tinu is the only former MLA on the list, while the rest three candidates are sitting MLAs in the state.
AAP national general secretary Sandeep Pathak announced in a post on X, “Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar from Ferozepur, Amansher Singh Kalsi from Gurdaspur and Ashok Parashar Pappi from Ludhiana parliamentary seat.”
Brar represents the Muktsar assembly seat, Kalsi is a legislator from Batala seat while Pappi is an MLA from the Ludhiana Central assembly constituency.Aam Aadmi Party leader Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar is set to contest from Ferozpur, Amansher Singh (Shery Kalsi) from Gurdaspur, Pawan Kumar Tinu from Jalandhar and Ashok Parashar Pappi from Ludhiana.
